More than just a golf club
The Michigan City Municipal Golf Course features two beautiful 18-hole courses set in a tranquil wooded setting. Recognized as one of the premier public courses for lovers of golf in Indiana, the Michigan City Golf Course offers a challenging day of play for every age and skill level.
Memberships are not required to play our public courses or use our facilities (applicable fees do apply). The Michigan City Municipal Golf Course features a practice green, golf practice area, fully-stocked pro shop, snack shop & bar (beer and wine) and trained golf professionals ready to make your day on the course fun and enjoyable. And unlike other courses, we permit walking or riding. Our carts are clean and comfortable!

We offer a variety of membership options, including Single Player, Junior/College Student, Couples, Family and Senior/Veteran memberships to suit your needs. All of our memberships include a variety of options and benefits!
The South course is a wonderful, challenging 18 hole course with excellent greens and well trimmed fairways. There are plenty of challenging holes where you’re hitting uphill or over water. Not normally too crowded but it can be on the weekends. If it’s too busy for me I just play at the North Executive course where you don’t need a tee time. Their score cards clearly show the map of the course which you don’t often see.
